There will be an informative Track and Field meeting for both boys and girls on Wednesday, February 17th at 2:30 in the high school cafeteria. If you are unable to attend you must see Mr. Carey, Mr. Wiens, or Mr. Attwood to get the information needed for participating in the 2010 Track and Field season.
Tonight, May 12 at 4:30pm on our own High School track, a rare event in sport will take place. Two boys track teams, Holly and our own Dragons, have managed to navigate the entire regular season without a loss. Both teams will end the regular season tonight in an epic battle of undefeateds. The winner will be poised to take the Metro League Championship next Wednesday at the final meet. Good Luck Dragons!

Also, the coaching staff would like to give a huge thank you to all who made this year’s event a success.
The Boys team defeated Clio and Brandon, while the Girls team split, defeating Clio and losing to Brandon. You can check out the Flint Journal article on the girls meet, but the boys article is currently not available.
This meet gave the Dragons a preview of the great facilities at Brandon, who will also host the Metro League Finals. Although the weather was crazy, the teams performed well.
Our next meet will be the Creek Relays, which we’ll host this Friday, April 24th.

We were informed Monday that the scrimmage with Grand Blanc has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 25, 2009. The meet will still begin at 4pm. Our bus time is 2:30pm, immediately after school. We apologize for any inconvience this may create with your schedules.
